Henry Wolf Book
This project was quite a challenge: How to capture the profession of a master art director (and beloved professor of mine) in just thirty pages? The book is not organized chronologically but rather certain traits in Henry’s work presented themselves as the organizing principle. This had to do with his provocative covers for Harper’s Bazaar and Esquire, the lyrical way he used typography and the haunting way that Henry used black and blue and shadows to create a particular mood.
