The logo mark represents a consortium of agricultural group in Palatino region of Sicily. These farmers specialize in high-quality fruits and vegetables that are handled with such care that they resemble jewels. Since the group was composed of multiple entities, the golden dots symbolized not only jewels but the various groups themselves.
